The Democrats have a convention, the Republicans have a convention and now you can have a convention! In September 2016 you can participate with representatives from colleges around the country to discuss the issues that are important to you and prepare a memo asking for your issues to be discussed at the Presidential Debates.
Applications to be a delegate will be available after the start of the year, so sign up now to get a notification. We’ll update this page as more details are available.
June 1-3, 2016
Delegates from around the country will gather at the Dominican campus in California to learn how to organize issue-focused events at their schools.
The College Delegates will facilitate discussions with fellow students on their campuses in order to encourage students to share their perspectives on important issues.
September 9-11, 2016
The College Convention will provide a forum for focused discussion on national issues, with faculty experts serving as moderators.
The culminating College Convention event will be a 90-minute moderated Town Hall meeting, which will be streamed live with watch gatherings at the delegates’ home campuses across the country.
The final product of the evening will be a memo to the moderators of the Presidential Debates that will outline the key issues the College Delegates want the candidates to address.
